This track was one of the first songs that was written back in 2009. I'd written it after buying my first Mandolin. After years of being in and out of bands I decided to have a go at writing and singing my own songs. The magic in the recording is due to the innovative approach from musical/technical/production genius Joshua Mazey. A quick trip to the tip shop to get some 5 dollar Microphones to add to the line up of random bits n pieces definitely added to the fun. But this track was a song about a serious relationship breakup that I guess in the end was the instigator for me to pursue this project. The sparkle sounds and bass was thanks to the "one" take wonder Lachlan Court. The drums was also thanks to the sensational and multi talented Joshua Mazey.
As an experiment in the attic of the very welcoming Patmore family in Mountain River, south of Hobart, we created this little piece within a day.
Fond memories of this period and I'm stoked to be pushing it again.
